anticipated return of Big Tigger's Annual Celebrity Classic to
Washington, DC. As the 7th installment of this premier charity event
benefiting HIV/AIDS, Big Tigger's celebrity weekend will bring together
an unprecedented group of Hollywood celebrities, professional athletes
and politicians. Big Tigger's 7th Annual Celebrity Classic will be held
June 5-7, 2008 in the Washington DC area.

This year's event promises to be bigger, bolder and better; attracting an elite group of Hollywood heavy hitters, professional athletes and the music industry's finest. As the cornerstone of the SCF Foundation, Big Tigger's 7th Annual Celebrity Classic is a unique charity event working to eradicate the spread of HIV/AIDS among young adults, minorities and women in our nation's capital and beyond. The celebrity weekend, designed to both raise funds for and heighten public awareness of HIV/AIDS, will include a series of planned activities including innovative testing programs, educational workshops, community events and the highlight event -- the celebrity basketball game. Big Tigger's 7th Annual Celebrity Classic will directly impact over 35,000 residents over a 3-day period.
As the foremost activist in the fight against HIV/AIDS, Big Tigger is the 2005 recipient of the prestigious National Black Caucus of State Legislators' Visionary Award for his "inimitable presence in the HIV/AIDS arena as an ambassador of good health" and has been formally recognized by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as a top African American leader in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
